A novel that tells the story of love and loss amidst the tumult of revolution and the suffering of asylum. Zahra, a young Tunisian woman, and Youssef, an Egyptian-British man who lived in Damascus, were brought together by dreams at a literary gathering in London, then separated by the Syrian war.
